Burgers, totally recommended
I'm not sure, but you surely could call them!
its till open around 7-8pm
This burgers Shop is a bit small, better be prepared for a big line in cold weather out side, the burgers is good specially if you are very hungry in Sausalito.
Nice burgers. Recommend getting them to go and eat by the bay on the benches or picnic tables.
Awesome burgers, juicy and huge. The Hawaiian Burger had enough freshly cooked bacon on it to make a breakfast by itself. Fries are also good, cut thick and a little crisp. There isn't really any space to eat inside for more than a few people, service was kind of brusque, so you'll want to take your food elsewhere, maybe the nearby park.
Had a great cheese burger at a reasonable price with a super quick prep-time. Would definitely recommend grabbing a to-go bag and enjoying the views from the pier.
Not a lunch place you plan on. If the Ferry isn't running, or who knows why else, they're closed. Friends rave about their burgers but as big as the burger is I find the bun overwhelms it and always seems stale. $15 for a burger and a soda and I expect more. The look of it flame broiling, the long line, all leads to big expectations and after 4 tries I'm unimpressed
They have the best fries we have ever had! Fresh ingredients were used for the burger and it taste delicious.
Right near ferry landing site and bus stop for Muir Woods, this small size restaurant exists, me with family went in because we were ridiculously hungry, ordered a chicken burger and burrito .. i could not believe how brilliantly these were made, absolutely delicious. If you r in sausalito, do not miss this join .. 100% satisfaction guranteed ..
Great burger place ... The burgers were good with char broiled taste. Can taste the quality meat but they were a bit dry. Maybe add some sauce may helps
Good hamburger fast. Not the most fantastic in the world or anything, but good, fresh, and a fun experience.
Wow! Small aisle to get your order, line out the door, burgers cooking on a turnstile. Very good.
Fast service. Burgers made from fresh meat over an open flame with good toppings.
Terrible service, way to rushed I don't care how busy it gets. Didn't give me the time of day to say what I didn't want on it, walked out with a sloppy excuse of a burger. The meat was plain and tasteless and there are TOO many topping on it to catch any of the flavor.
Big burger, good value for money.
Went in today for a hamburger. It was excellent.Cooked perfectly on the in the window grill. It is obvious they use quality meat. Best burger in Marin by far.
Cons: no restroom (even for customers), no tap water, small cramped dining area. Pros: big, juicey, flamed-broiled burgers with plentiful fixings and condiments and prices that are more affordable than most other establishments in Sausalito and San Francisco
Name says it all best "Hamburgers" in Sausalito. You get to watch your perfect patty cook on the rotating grill. Nice bun to hold it all together. A must stop if are in the area.
Very very good combo 4
Great pricing for fresh ingredients. Limited menu with reasonable selections. Portions are hefty and everything is made to order from scratch. Friendly staff with next to no wait for orders.
This spot is fantastic! Reasonable rates, large dishes and the staff are always friendly.
Great fresh hamburgers, always a line.
Great burger for a decent price. Very limited seating though
This place is awesome as always. Get your burger and fries then go eat by the water, no better way to spend an afternoon.
Great burgers cooked in front of you on a rotating BBQ grill. Take away only. It’s well worth joining the long line to get yourself one of these.
Small shop but delicious burger
This place has the worse customer service.Upon, literally, serving my friend they rudely told us to leave. It was so rude, I was in a little shock (not even "please" was used lol.) We questioned why, since other people were eating, and they said those people were already seated; but it was just seconds before we were served - so confusing.I'm honestly still scratching my head on how this greasy place landed in such a charming town. The other shops and hosts along the street are so nice.Avoid this place - or demand respect.(*Updated -September 25, 2018. It appears the owner is in denial about my friend and I visiting this place lol (Aug 25). But I took a photo right after the incident. In any case just understand the type of place your visiting. And demand respect).
Whenever I visit the bay coming over for a burger here is unavoidable. There's a queue but moves quick. Get there early or a late lunch. Enjoy!
Good burgers and fries.
The burger that was here was really yummy and a little messy. My whole family seemed ro enjoy it.
A nice burger with char and a very generous amount of perfectly cooked fries (probably enough to split between 2 people).
This is a new experience with hamburgers. Because the hamburger that smoked the hamburger bread together is really delicious. The inside of the hamburger shop is very complicated, and if i want to give you a tip, make a cash payment and take it out. If you pay in cash, you will receive a discount.
Hawaiian hamburger is the best on their menu
Not much big space in side 6-8 people can sit in there . always too much crowded there . price not much high compare than other . average quality good for quick bit 👌. They haven't any own parking lot
Good food. Fresh burgers yummy. Good job
The tour bus operator suggested this place and he was right. The food it cooked on a rotating grill in the front window while you watch. The orders are taken by the cook, who has a unique system of writing your order on the corner of the paper that will wrap your burger, what condiments and topping you want, then the # of your order. The papers slide down the assembly counter. The second employee gets the toasted bun prepared with all the fixings, ready for your meat. She also acts as cashier. I think it is probably a mom and pop shop, and they delivered one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had. The cook told us that after the Golden Gate Bridge, they are the highest tourist attraction in the area. Great entertainment while waiting for great food!
Thought I give this place a try after reading the reviews. Ordered the cheeseburger and found out that I needed a mouth like a hippopotamus to get a decent bite. The burger must have been at least three inches tall, which I had to attacked a bite at a time. The bun was a bit on the hard side and the burger was somewhat dry. For a $10.00 burger? Anything positive? Yes, the condiments were decent.IMHO even some of the chain burger places were better in flavor and much cheaper in price. Will not go back.
The hype is greatly overrated. As another local reviewer stated, the burgers were really dry. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, mayo & mustard. The mustard and mayo had fallen out the bottom of the burger onto the paper wrapping. I didn't notice this until I was halfway through. There are only 4 small tables here with 2 chairs each. So plan on waiting for a table, or taking it somewhere else to eat.Overall, the burger was only so-so, the fries were very small, and the drinks are overpriced. $2.65 for a can of soda. I'm not sure why this would ever be considered the 2nd highest tourist attraction after the Golden Gate Bridge. If you skip this place, you won't be missing anything at all. Burger King would be a lot better place to eat.
A literal hole in the wall in Sausalito. A break from the nice sit down places along the main road, and great place to stop for a quick burger. The menu is simple: 4 burger choices, bbq chicken filet, burrito and hotdog. I haven’t tried the other items, but burger and fries are solid choice. Burger patty looks to be home made and fresh... cooked at order. Fries are done well; not over cooked. There are 3 small tables towards the back, but best to grab the food and eat at the park across the street. Also, friendly staff!
Consistently good food and made correctly.
The hidden fire-baked burger in the town, so delicious, over my expectations, much better than IN-N-OUT!
Great taste, great price, and great meat. You are just watching how the Burger is done in front of you. Maybe a bit small place.
Good Burger 👍
Very clean and convenient spot. They provide big portions and for inexpensive prices. We liked the menu very much and the staff were very affable and informative. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
Tasty, worth visiting once if in the area, but I wouldn't wait longer than 30 min for it
One of the best burgers you can grab in California!
Too much hype on it. It's indeed a good burguer but it doesn't worth a second time in the line.
Yes, there is often a line at Hamburgers on Bridgeway. And yes, the place is small. Yes, the offerings are limited to burgers, fries and drinks. But the line moves quickly and you can call in your order and pick it up without waiting. The interior seating is limited, but why would you want to sit in any restaurant when you can be outside sitting on the Sausalito waterfront where the Otis Redding song, "Dock of the Bay" was written? And the burgers? Absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection, great condiments. Yum.
Great place to eat, super kind people! Very crowded and little space but it's fine
Great Hawaiian burger. Huge. Small shop, big burgers. Gotta stop by. Busy in the afternoon. Get there before 12p if you can.
